The average Internet user has 41.1 inches -- while nearly one in five (18 percent) has six feet or more -- of messy cables cluttering up their desktop, according to a survey commissioned by Logitech. Logitech estimates that with approximately 168 million desktop computers installed in the U.S., this means about 109,000 miles worth of desktop cords, enough to cross the country 35 times, circle the earth four times, or reach halfway to the moon.
